Seattle Washington

Seattle is the port city for Holland America's 14-day Alaskan Explorer Cruise. We arrived a day early so that we could explore the city, meet our wonderful Holland America Personal Cruise Consultant Jennifer Flink (previously we've only worked together online and on the phone) and spend a relaxing, carefree evening before heading down to Pier 92 the following morning. Activities included viewing the city from the Space Needle, walking along the ocean front, riding the monorail, and zipping down a steep hill between the Space Needle and the Pier in a pedicab on our way to having cocktails with Jennifer.

We arranged a late flight from Seattle upon our return so we'd have more time in the city. We used this time to explore the well-known Pike Marketplace.
